HL Column Pin Coupling

The basic type of HL column pin coupling consists of the same two halves of the coupling, nylon column pins, baffles and bolts. The pins fit into the pin holes on the flanges of the two half-couplings, and the direction in which they fit into the holes of the half-couplings changes alternately. A baffle is fixed on the side of the coupling half.

HL column pin coupling is suitable for all kinds of transmission shafts mechanically connecting two coaxial lines, and is usually used for high and low speed movements with frequent movements. The working temperature is -20～+80℃,the transmission nominal torque is 40～20000N.m..

The HL column pin coupling has a simple and reasonable structure, convenient maintenance, symmetrical interchangeability on both sides, long life, allows large axial movement, properties of buffering and shock absorption.

Shaft hole types are cylindrical (Y), conical (Z) and short cylindrical (J). The shaft hole and keyway are processed according to the provisions of the standard GB3852-97 "Coupling shaft column and keyway form and size". The coupling half is cast, cast iron HT20-40, cast steel ZG35Ⅱ, the shaft hole and keyway are drawn, and the column pin is made of MC nylon.

The HL column pin coupling is a column pin made of several non-metallic elastic materials, which are placed in the flange holes of the two halves of the coupling, and the two halves of the coupling are connected through the column pins. The structure of the coupling is simple and easy. It is more convenient to manufacture, assemble, disassemble and replace the elastic element, without moving the two halves of the coupling. The material of the elastic element (column pin) is generally made of nylon, which has the ability to compensate for the offset of the two axes in a small amount. The elastic element is sheared during operation and has poor workability. It is only suitable for medium-speed transmission shafts with very low requirements, and is not suitable for higher demanding working conditions.
