The following is a detailed introduction to the LZ135 Down-hole Motor
It is mainly composed of four parts: bypass valve assembly, motor assembly, universal shaft assembly and transmission shaft assembly.
With drilling fluid as the power, the mud pumped out by the mud pump flows through the bypass valve into the motor, forming a certain pressure difference at the inlet and outlet of the motor, driving the rotor to rotate around the axis of the stator, and transmitting the speed and torque to the drill bit through the universal shaft and transmission shaft, thereby realizing drilling operations.
1. Increase drilling speed: It can provide a stable speed and torque for the drill bit, so that the drill bit can break rocks more effectively. Compared with the traditional rotary drilling method, it can significantly increase the mechanical drilling speed and shorten the drilling time.
2. Reduce drill pipe wear: The entire drill pipe column only serves as a channel for conveying high-pressure working medium and a rod to support the drill bit's anti-torque. It does not make a rotary motion, which reduces the friction between the drill pipe and the well wall, reduces the wear of the drill pipe, and extends the service life of the drill pipe.
3. Accurately control the borehole trajectory: It can be used in conjunction with directional drilling tools. By adjusting the angle and direction of the screw drill, the borehole trajectory can be accurately controlled, which can meet the drilling needs of different types of directional wells, horizontal wells, etc.
4. Adapt to various formation conditions: Screw drills of various specifications and models have different speeds and torque output ranges. Appropriate drills can be selected according to the hardness, lithology and other characteristics of the formation. They can perform well in soft formations, hard formations, high-siliceous formations and other formations.
