The LZ228 down-hole motor is mainly composed of bypass valve assembly, motor assembly, universal shaft assembly, and a transmission shaft assembly. The bypass valve is installed at the top and can control the flow of drilling fluid during drilling; The motor assembly is the core component, consisting of a stator and a rotor, used to convert high-pressure liquid energy into rotating mechanical energy; The universal shaft assembly can convert the motion of the rotor into the fixed axis rotation of the transmission shaft assembly; The drive shaft is used to transmit torque to the drill bit and withstand forces such as drilling pressure.
Powered by drilling fluid, the drilling fluid pumped out by the mud pump flows through a bypass valve into the motor, creating a certain pressure difference at the inlet and outlet of the motor, driving the rotor of the motor to rotate, and transmitting the speed and torque to the drill bit through the universal shaft and transmission shaft, thereby driving the drill bit to rotate and break the rock.
1. Drilling operation.
Before starting the drilling, circulate the drilling fluid for 15-20 minutes to remove the rock debris in the well and prevent the accumulation of rock debris that may cause stuck drilling.
During the drilling process, observe the lifting load of the drilling tool. If the load suddenly increases (exceeding the normal load by more than 20%), it may be due to wellbore shrinkage or mud bags. Stop drilling, lower the drilling tool to circulate the drilling fluid, and if necessary, perform drilling treatment.
2. Disassembly and cleaning.
After drilling, dismantle the drilling tools in a timely manner and rinse all components with high-pressure water (pressure ≥ 10MPa).
Check whether the rubber of the motor stator is aging or peeling, and whether the hard chromium layer on the rotor surface is worn (allowable wear amount ≤ 0.3mm). If severe wear or damage is found, the motor assembly needs to be replaced.
3. Lubrication and storage.
Apply special high-temperature lubricating grease to the transmission shaft bearings, universal shaft and other moving parts to prevent rust and dry friction.
When stored for a long time, the drilling tools should be placed in a dry and ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and rainwater immersion. Anti rust oil should be applied to each threaded connection and wrapped with a dust cover. The drilling tools should be rotated 180 ° regularly (monthly) to prevent bearing jamming.
