Introduction of Valve Guide

1. Structural Composition: The overall structure is divided into two parts. The upper guide is an integrated design that directly accommodates the positioning requirements of the discharge valve body assembly. The lower guide features a more refined structure, consisting of a guide body and an inner sleeve. The inner sleeve is embedded within the guide body, forming a dual-protection guide structure. It is used in conjunction with the flash board assy, which provides bottom fixed support.

2. Core Function: The primary role of the valve guide is to center and position the valve body assembly. The upper guide is specifically designed for the discharge valve body assembly, while the lower guide is installed within the cylinder cavity to position and center the suction valve body assembly. By ensuring precise alignment, it prevents the valve body assembly from shifting or vibrating under high-pressure mud flow during operation, ensuring accurate valve assembly opening and closing actions. Additionally, it reduces collisions and wear between the valve body and other components, indirectly maintaining stable pressure in the mud pump.

3. Maintenance and Care: The valve guide is recommended to conduct specialized inspections on the inner sleeve of the valve guide weekly. If the clearance between the valve and the guide exceeds 3 millimeters, it indicates severe wear of the inner sleeve, which must be replaced promptly to prevent loss of guiding function and accelerated valve body wear. During routine inspections, observe the guide surface for cracks or corrosion, and after cleaning off attached mud, apply a small amount of high-temperature-resistant grease. For long-term shutdowns, disassemble and properly store the guide to avoid corrosion caused by humid environments.
