Features of LM Quincunx Elastic Coupling

1. LMS (formerly MLS) type-double-flange quincunx-shaped elastic coupling is mainly composed of two convex teeth that are closely meshed and subjected to radial extrusion to transmit torque. When the two axes deviate relative to each other, the elastic element occurs the corresponding elastic deformation plays an automatic compensation role.

2. LMS (formerly MLS) type-double-flange quincunx elastic coupling is mainly suitable for frequent starting, positive and negative rotation, medium and high speed, medium torque and high-performance working occasions, such as: metallurgy, mining, petroleum, chemical industry, lifting, transportation, light industry, textile, water pump, fan, etc. The working environment temperature is -35℃～+80℃, the transmission nominal torque is 25～12500Nm, and the allowable speed is 1500～15300r/min.

3. Compared with other couplings, LMS (formerly MLS) type-double flange quincunx elastic coupling has the following characteristics:

(1) It works stably and has good vibration damping, cushioning and electrical insulation properties.

(2) Simple structure, small radial size, light weight, small moment of inertia, suitable for medium or high speed applications.

(3) It has large axial, radial and angular compensation capabilities.

(4) Polyurethane elastic components are oil-resistant, have a large bearing capacity and a long service life.

(5) The coupling does not need to be lubricated, the maintenance workload is small, and it can run continuously for a long time.
