Introduction of Discharge Manifold

1. Structural composition: The discharge manifold is generally composed of straight pipes, bent pipes, tees, crosses and other fittings. One end is connected to the outlet of the mud pump, and the other end is usually connected to components such as air bags, safety valves, pressure gauges, and some are also connected to the discharge filtration device.

2. Connection methods: Common connection methods include flange connection and threaded connection. Flange connection has the characteristics of firm connection and good sealing, suitable for large-diameter and high-pressure discharge manifolds; Threaded connections are more convenient and commonly used for small-diameter or low-pressure pipelines.

3. Performance requirements: The discharge manifold needs to have good pressure resistance to withstand the high pressure output by the mud pump; At the same time, it should have strong wear resistance and corrosion resistance to resist the erosion of solid particles and chemical substances in the mud, ensuring the service life of the pipeline.

4. Maintenance: Regularly inspect the wear and corrosion of the discharge manifold, especially in areas such as bends and tees, and promptly address any issues found; Check the connection parts of the pipeline to ensure that the connection is tight and there is no leakage. At the same time, regular cleaning and anti-corrosion treatment of pipelines should be carried out according to the properties and usage of the mud.
