Working Principle of Giicl Drum Gear Coupling

The rotation of the prime mover of the GIICL drum gear coupling drives the swing arm to rotate, and it is thrown outward under the action of centrifugal force. As the motor speed increases, the positive pressure of the three centrifugal friction blocks installed on the swing arm on the friction wheel also increases. The increasing of the friction torque drives the load to run. Under severe overload or locked-rotor conditions, the torque at the load end is greater than the friction torque, and the centripetal force on the centrifugal friction block decreases, resulting in a decrease in the force on the slider. GIICL drum gear coupling acts as overload protection. When the load of the equipment increases or decreases suddenly, the friction block and the friction wheel produce intermittent relative motion, resulting in alternating shock loads, repeatedly impact the mating surface of the shaft sleeve at the output end of the GIICL drum gear coupling and the input shaft of the reducer, like a heavy hammer hitting the joint surface countless times, thus damaging the joint surface. If the key pins want to improve the operating conditions of the equipment, they need to be changed connecting devices for electromechanical equipment.
