The following is a detailed introduction about LZ244 down-hole motor
1. Bypass valve: composed of valve body, valve sleeve, valve core, spring and other components. During drilling operations, the bypass valve is in a bypass state, allowing the mud in the drill string to bypass the motor and enter the annulus; When the mud flow rate and pressure reach the standard set values, the valve core moves downward and closes the bypass valve hole. At this time, the mud flows through the motor, converting pressure energy into mechanical energy.
2. Screw motor: It is the core component of the down-hole motor, consisting of stator and rotor. The rotor and stator mesh with each other, using the lead difference between the two to form a spiral sealed cavity to complete energy conversion.
3. Universal shaft: Its function is to convert the planetary motion of the motor into the fixed axis rotation of the transmission shaft, and transmit the torque and speed generated by the motor to the transmission shaft until the drill bit.
4. Transmission shaft: transmits the rotational power of the motor to the drill bit, while bearing the axial and radial loads generated by the drilling pressure.
Powered by drilling fluid, when the mud pumped out by the mud pump flows through the bypass valve into the motor, a certain pressure difference is formed at the inlet and outlet of the motor, which drives the rotor to rotate around the axis of the stator and transmits the speed and torque to the drill bit through the universal shaft and transmission shaft, thus achieving drilling operations.
