Introduction of Alignment Ring

1. Structural features: The alignment ring of the mud pump is usually a circular structure with a shaft hole in the middle and installation holes or positioning bosses distributed around it for assembly and connection with other components of the pump.

2. Working principles: The alignment ring limits the axial movement range of the impeller by cooperating with components such as the impeller, pump shaft, and pump casing, ensuring that the axial clearance between the impeller and the pump casing remains within the design range, thereby ensuring the sealing performance and normal operation of the mud pump.

3. Common materials: Common materials include alloy steels such as 45 steel and 35CrMo. 45 steel has certain strength and toughness, and can meet the requirements of general mud pumps after appropriate heat treatment; 35CrMo has higher strength, toughness, and wear resistance, making it suitable for mud pumps that require high wear resistance.

4. Performance requirements: The alignment ring needs to have good wear resistance to resist the erosion and wear of solid particles in the mud; At the same time, it is necessary to have high dimensional accuracy and surface flatness to ensure assembly accuracy with other components and reduce leakage and vibration.
