Introduction of Valve Assembly

I. Structural composition: The valve assembly is usually composed of a valve body assembly and a valve seat. The valve body assembly consists of components such as the valve body, valve rubber, valve nut, guide frame, gland, circlip, steel ball, etc.

II. Operating Principle: The valve assembly of a mud pump is typically an automatic one-way check valve, which opens by relying on the hydraulic pressure difference above and below the valve, and closes by virtue of the valve's own weight or spring force.

III. Common Types: Based on the form of the valve seat inner hole, valve assemblies can be divided into through-hole valves, three-rib valves, and four-rib valves. Three-rib valves have a relatively larger flow capacity, while four-rib valves have a stronger valve seat, better able to withstand impacts.

IV. Material characteristics: Valve bodies and seats are often made of high-quality alloy steel such as 20CrMnTi. After carburizing and quenching, the surface hardness exceeds HRC60, and the conical surface undergoes precision grinding to ensure sealing accuracy. Sealing components such as valve rubber often use polyurethane or specially formulated rubber, which has good wear resistance and sealing performance.

V. Performance characteristics: The valve assembly operates at high frequencies and must withstand the high-frequency impact of high-pressure mud, making it one of the main wear parts in the mud pump. Its performance directly affects the service life of the hydraulic cylinder and the overall work efficiency of the mud pump.
