Introduction of Clamp

1. Functions: The clamp is mainly used to connect the extension rod and the piston rod, serving as the boundary between the power end and the hydraulic end, and playing a role in fixing and connecting, ensuring the stability and reliability of the power transmission of the mud pump.

2. Structures: The clamp is usually composed of two semi-circular rings, such as a primary clamp and a secondary clamp, forming a semi-circular ring structure as a whole. The outer sides of the hoop are symmetrically equipped with front and rear handles for easy installation and disassembly. In addition, a tight sealing ring is usually installed inside the clamp to seal and prevent mud leakage.

3. Materials: The clamp is generally forged from ZG35CrMo, which has high strength, good wear resistance, and toughness, and can withstand high pressure and impact during the operation of the mud pump, ensuring the service life and performance of the clamp.

4. Sealing performance: In some clamp structures, elastic members are installed on the outer surface of the rubber gasket. When the elastic members are compressed, they generate elastic potential energy, which can make the connection between the rubber gasket and the mud pump clamp tighter and improve the sealing performance of the clamp. When the rubber gasket deforms due to long-term use and is not tightly connected to the mud pump, the elastic potential energy of the elastic member will push the rubber gasket again, making it tightly connected to the mud pump clamp again and maintaining its sealing performance.
