Introduction of Valve Spring

I. Structural Features: Primarily designed as a helical compression spring, the overall structure forms a tightly coiled shape. Both ends are ground flat to ensure smooth contact with valve assembly components. After assembly, it can evenly withstand pressure, preventing localized wear caused by uneven force distribution.

II. Common Materials: The mainstream material used is high-quality spring steel, with 65Mn being a common choice. In certain working conditions, high-strength spring steels such as 60Si2Mn are also selected. These materials enable the valve spring to possess excellent elasticity, fatigue resistance, and high-temperature and high-pressure endurance, making them suitable for the harsh working environment of the hydraulic end of mud pumps.

III. Core Functions.

1. Assisting the valve assembly in resetting: This is its core function. During the operation of the mud pump, the valve assembly frequently opens and closes with the pump's suction and discharge cycles. The valve spring stores and releases energy through its own elastic deformation, swiftly pushing the valve back into position after the assembly completes its opening and closing actions. This ensures precise alignment between the valve seat and the valve body, preventing mud leakage caused by delayed resetting.

2. Shock and Vibration Absorption: Valve springs can cushion the impact forces generated during the opening and closing of the valve assembly, reducing rigid collisions between the valve assembly and other components, minimizing wear on parts, while also mitigating hydraulic end vibrations during mud pump operation, ensuring smooth operation of the entire hydraulic end system.

3. Ensure sealing performance: The valve and seat achieve tight contact through its own preload, enhancing the sealing effect and preventing high-pressure slurry leakage from the valve assembly gap during transportation, thereby ensuring stable output pressure of the slurry pump.
