1. Reasons for bearing burnout


Through the analysis of the usage of the drilling team in the jurisdiction, the main reasons for bearing burnout are: 1. The oil circuit is not smooth. 2. Not enough oil. 3. The bearing itself has quality defects.


2. Methods of prolonging the service life of mud pump bearings


The mud pump we use has a bad operating environment, and the seal inside the pump is not good, which will allow mud to enter.


Therefore, it is necessary to regularly clean and clean the oil circuit to ensure that the oil circuit is smooth. The easiest way is to blow with air, which can check whether the oil circuit is smooth; ensure that the oil circuit is airtight and cannot leak air.


The CB50 gear oil pump is now commonly used. The advantages of this oil pump are simple structure and convenient use.


Frequent inspection: Make sure that the oil level is between the upper and lower scales of the oil dipstick, neither too much nor too little. Too much oil will cause the mud pump bearing to heat up, and if it is too little, the lubrication effect of the bearing is not good; ensure that the bearing shell is in good condition, so that the bearing is fully lubricated.


When hooking up the car, it must be stable, and try to avoid violent hooking. Excessive impact will cause great damage to all parts of the pump.


To ensure the cleanliness of the oil, if the oil is too dirty or contains too much water, it is easy to rust, and the oil film cannot be formed, so that the lubrication effect cannot be achieved. Therefore, strict sealing and preservation of the oil is necessary.


There are no effective measures for the defects of the bearing itself. The defects of the appearance of the mud pump can be observed with the naked eye and measured with the aid of a measuring tool.


However, there is no way to solve the material problem of the bearing. The alloy ratio, hardness, wear resistance, etc. of the bearing steel will affect the service life of the bearing. By purchasing a reputable regular manufacturer, the fatigue limit of the bearing can also be increased.


Ⅱ. Factors and preventive measures that cause abnormal sound of mud pump


1. The reason for the abnormal noise of the mud pump


The main reasons for the abnormal noise at the power end: the wear of the main and passive gears, the rise and fall of the platform, and the poor meshing surface, resulting in abnormal noise. The clearance between the upper and lower guide plates of the crosshead exceeds the standard. During the operation of the mud pump crankshaft, the crosshead jumps up and down and strikes the upper and lower guide plates, making abnormal noises.


The main reason for the abnormal sound of the hydraulic end: the water on the hydraulic end is not good, resulting in a water hammer sound at the hydraulic end, accompanied by a large beating of the hose. Poor mud flow performance. The water line on the mud pump is too long, blocked or leaks air. The air bag has no pressure. The rubber pad inside the anti-erti centralizer is used to hold the anti-erti centralizer.


The spring of the upper water tank is long and hard. When the piston is pumped, the opening degree is small and the water intake is small, which affects the volume efficiency in the tank and causes loud sound.


Ⅲ. The solution to the abnormal noise of the mud pump


The solution to the abnormal noise of the power end: 1. Grind the meshing surface of the active and passive gears, try to ensure that the tooth surface is smooth, and increase the contact area of the meshing surface.


2. Strictly ensure the coaxiality of the crosshead and the piston rod; ensure that the clearance between the crosshead guide plate and the sliding plate of the mud pump does not exceed the standard (0.3mm-0.4mm); the meshing surface of the crosshead and the lower guide plate reaches more than 95%.


The solution to the abnormal noise of the hydraulic end: 1. Make sure that the connection parts of the hydraulic end are airtight and have no gaps, and there should be no air leakage.


2. The specific gravity and viscosity of the mud are suitable to ensure the good fluidity of the mud.


3. Ensure that the water supply pipeline of the mud pump is unobstructed and free from punctures. It is best to use a hose for the water supply pipeline. The minimum diameter is 250mm, the length is between 2.1-3.8mm, and there is no 90-degree sharp bend to reduce the friction in the water supply pipe. and inertial loss.


The underside of the water supply pipeline should be 300mm higher than the mud tank.


4. Check the inflation pressure of the discharge pre-air bag and keep it in the range of 4.0-4.5MPA.


5. Bake the old anti-erti righting rod red with oxygen, put the rubber pad into the mud pump and rub it for several times before use.


6. Install the old spring to the upper tank and the new to the drain tank.
