The intermediate tie rod is an important part that connects the cross-head and the piston rod, which is a key part that connects the power end and the hydraulic end of the mud pump. One connects with the cross head, the other connects with the piston rod through a clamp, and a packing box assembly is arranged on the outer surface thereof. In the reciprocating motion, the outer circle of the intermediate tie rod and the seal in the packing box rub against each other. To ensure wear resistance, the outer surface of the middle rod is plated with hard chrome.

The mud pump air bag is the main mud pump spares at the discharge end of the mud pump. It is installed at one end of the discharge pipe at the hydraulic end and plays a role in stabilizing the pressure and compensating the pressure. The working pressure of the airbag is 80% of the working pressure of the mud pump. It should be noted that when using an air bag, the pressure must be relieved first.

Proper installation and use of pulsation dampeners can effectively reduce pressure fluctuations in the discharge system, thereby achieving more uniform fluid flow. In order to achieve a high service life of the airbag, the recommended ratio between the pump pressure and the airbag pre-charge pressure (usually not more than 2/3 of t) should be maintained, and the maximum discharge pressure of the pump should not exceed 4.5Mpa.
