Technical Parameters and Operating Procedures of the Pumping Unit

The pumping unit is a kind of machinery and equipment for oil extraction, and the conventional pumping unit is the most important lifting device in the rod pumping system. According to whether there is a beam, it can be divided into a beam pumping unit and a beam pumping unit without a beam.


Ⅰ. Technical parameters of pumping unit


The main technical parameters of the pumping unit include the rated suspension point load, the maximum stroke of the polished rod, the rated torque of the reducer and the maximum stroke frequency, etc., the definitions and numbers of which have been regulated in the standard.

(1) Rated suspension point load: the rated value of the pull force of the polished rod on the rope hanger. It mainly determines the working capacity of the pumping unit, and affects the pump diameter and pump depth of the downhole pump.


(2) Maximum stroke of the polished rod: adjust the stroke adjustment mechanism of the pumping unit to obtain the maximum displacement of the polished rod, which mainly determines the basic size and weight of the pumping unit and affects the production of the oil well.


(3) Maximum stroke times: when the output shaft of the power machine is equipped with the maximum diameter tape pulley allowed by the design, or the input shaft of the reducer is mounted with the minimum diameter tape pulley allowed by the design, the stroke times obtained by the pumping unit are mainly related to the oil pumping The configuration of machine power affects the production of oil wells as well as the highest stroke frequency.


(4) Rated torque of the reducer: the maximum torque allowed by the output shaft of the reducer, which mainly determines the size and weight of the reducer. There is a certain relationship between it and the above three parameters, which is related to the power configuration of the pumping unit and affects the oil well. Selection of working conditions.


Ⅱ. Operating procedures of pumping unit


1. Inspection and preparation before start-up


(1) Check whether the important parts are in good condition (such as whether the anchor bolts, brakes, crank pins of the beam pumping unit are damaged or loose).


(2) Check whether the gearbox oil is adequate (if it is not used for a long time, it can be judged initially by observing whether there is oil leakage or oil theft).


(3) Check whether there is no object that hinders the operation.


(4) Check whether the oil well flow is correct and smooth.


(5) Check whether the power supply system is normal (focus on checking whether the various protection and grounding devices are in good condition, if there is a switch, it should be in the manual position, turn on the main switch of the power supply, and check whether the voltage is -5% to +10% of the rated value Inside).


2. Start the operation


(1) Remove the brake safety lock block and release the brake (pay attention to whether the brake shoe is completely released).


(2) After the pumping unit is stationary, press the manual start-stop button (stand on the side of the power distribution control cabinet, and wear insulating gloves in rainy and snowy seasons), observe whether there are any abnormalities and eliminate them in time (such as not starting, belt slipping), abnormal sound and odor, etc.).


(3) If there is a transfer switch, turn it to the normal position, and then press the start button (if it cannot be started once, use inertia to start it 2-3 times. If it still does not start, it should be checked, and then the problem is eliminated. Restart the pumping unit).


3. Shutdown operation


(1) When the pumping unit is running at the desired position, press the stop button.


(2) Slowly brake and tighten the brake to stop the pumping unit at the required position (when the oil well gas volume is large, it should stop at the bottom dead center; when the sand content is large, it should stop at the top dead center. During maintenance , should be parked at a convenient location for work).


(3) Hang the brake safety lock block.


(4) If there is a transfer switch, turn it to the manual position and turn off the main power switch.
